2021 Apocalypse Hellfire First: Apocalypse es ahora

  • 2 minutos de lectura

There’s no arguing the fact that standard pickup trucks are the MotorTrend Truck Group’s bread and butter. While we regularly cover all varieties of two- and four-wheel-drive rigs, there are occasions when our coverage goes outside that proverbial box, with reports on trucks that aren’t quite as normal.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Apocalypse Manufacturing is known for building off-road rigs that break away from long-established pickup truck tradition, and its most recent creation—the Apocalypse HellFire—just might be the company’s most aggressive piece to date.

The truck’s middle axle takes the unique powertrain a step further, as it allows drivers to use four- or six-wheel drive as necessary. It also has active suspension for optimum handling in severe on- or off-road surfaces and/or conditions.

Of course, for a rig that starts at €150,000, there are plenty of additional essentials. Among these add-ons are steel bumpers that are a inch thick. The front piece includes a 9,500-pound winch, and its rear-mounted counterpart features a hitch capable of handling 12,000 pounds. Apocalypse is also outfitted with window armor, power side steps, removable roof and doors, 40-inch tires, a full-time rearview camera/mirror display, LED headlights (with a color-changing halo), hand-stitched seats and interior appointments, as well as many of the features that are found in its Gladiator foundation (Bluetooth, navigation, Apple CarPlay, etc. ).

Apocalypse Manufacturing welcomes those who are interested in owning a HellFire to visit their dealership and test drive the dynamic new all-terrain truck.
